Update on the CI front

We finally got the good news on Tuesday this week that I am scheduled for a second cochlear implant surgery in November! It will be wonderful to have surround hearing instead of hearing one side. Although I have been warned to keep my expectations and hopes low, I have a good feeling about this. I am aware that it will be a long process of learning to hear again like it was after the first cochlear implant surgery.
